Superstitious

For Halloween I wanted a not so overdone theme. I finally came up with one!
Unlucky 13 Party!
Here were the invitations:

The centerpiece of the party was a faux broken mirror. I made it with a science project board spray painted black. I cut silver lame' up in shard like shapes and sprayed the board with adhesive. Then I framed the board with boards and painted them.
I added spiders, crows, & spider webs to make it look spooky.

I hung umbrella's upside down in the top of the tent and tacked paper bats and gauzy cheesecloth to the top of the tent for a spookier look.

Salt on a table is bad luck, so we had a table completely coated with salt. This was my favorite table!
I made a Black Cat Corn Mix for the kids.
I put brownie crunch cereal, m&m's, gummy eyes, and popcorn. The kids loved it!
It's bad luck to place a hat on a bed.
So we made a faux bed with sheets and a pillow and every dessert we served was in a hat shape.

And finally, what's a halloween party without smore's?
I themed this table around the little Cast a Spell candy holder.
It is bad luck to place shoes on a table. So we put shoes all around the table. We had all kinds of different marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers. Instead of roasting the marshmallows over the large bonfire we had two sterno stations to roast them over.

For the favor bags I made these cute little rhymes:
And these were the contents of the bags.

I loved this party! It was SO much fun! :)

This was me in my costume, Miss Piggy.
